 REFLECTION: DURING FIRST QUARTER

MY DISCOVERIES/LEARNING I HAVE GAINED DURING FIRST QUARTER: My involvement with the subject mathematics has given essential insights and growth in the first quarter. I've not only improved my problem-solving and mathematical thinking abilities, but I've also discovered the beauty and universality of mathematics. I've experienced and discovered the complicated part of mathematical knowledge, from the types of arithmetic to geometric and beyond. Furthermore, I've learned the value of perseverance and effort in learning mathematical concepts, as well as the importance of accepting obstacles and making mistakes as a part of learning process. These learning/discoveries have not only improved my mathematical abilities, but have also sparked a profound interest in this subject.

    

CHALLENGES I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN MATH SUBJECT: In the realm of mathematics during the first quarter , I encountered a lot of challenges that both frustrated and motivated me. According to the most of students math is one of the hardest subject. Because mathematics includes problem-solving, memorization of formulas, and also computations which involve mental effort and a lot of memorizations. At times, I struggled to understand complicated topics, leading to moments of self-doubt and frustration. Time management was also a challenge as I often found myself spending a lot of time in computing, understanding and memorizing. Nevertheless, I recognized those challenges as opportunities for self growth and discoveries that helped me practiced regularly, and learned  to approach problems with patience.

   

HOW ADDRESS THE CHALLENGES I HAVE ENCOUNTERED: To address those challenges, I encountered in my math studies/lesson during the first quarter, I implemented more on self-study and time managing. However, I also joined study groups to collaborate with my classmates, sharing problem-solving strategies and gaining more knowledge. Consistent practice through solving wide range of problems enabled me to improve my mathematical skills. I also took advantage of online resources and tutorials where most of it are in You Tube, which provided alternative explanations for complicated topics. Time management is a good strategy in addressing these problems by creating a structured schedule that allocated dedicated study time for math and other subjects, helping me better balance my academic responsibilities. These strategies contributed a lot to my ability to overcome complicated topics and math challenges.
